My name is Darcy Hinrichs. I am a designer and illustrator and currently live in Meridian, Idaho with my husband and two dogs. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember but didn’t really seriously consider going into the creative field until I was working on a degree in elementary education. A mentor of mine actually pulled me aside and practically shook me, saying, “Why are you wasting your talent?!” It obviously made an impression and well…here I am!

I have been working in the design industry for over 15 years. I have an Associate of Arts degree in Art Education and a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design. Most of my experience has been focused on digital design for e-commerce (landing pages, emails, social media, mobile and display graphics, web design and mobile application UI). I also have experience with art direction, branding, illustration, stationery design, and copywriting.

I am continually looking for ways to grow and develop as a designer and mentor. I love exploring new ideas and being a catalyst of inspiration for others in their growth and development. I have attended HOW Design Live conference for several years and have been an active participant within the conference community. I have been an Ambassador for the conference since 2015. With that, I have provided promotional marketing support through various social media platforms, customer service to attendees, speakers and staff, assisted with networking events, given speaker introductions, organized special events and have also provided creative that has been featured in directories and swag.
